Research Director, High Performance Computing, IDC.
Addison Snell is a Research Director within IDC's Technical Computing Systems program. His research covers scalable high-performance computing markets and the IDC HPC User Forum. Mr. Snell has over 10 years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining IDC, Mr. Snell was a marketing team leader for scalable systems at SGI, working with both wholly proprietary and industry standards-based platforms. He has also held management positions for a UNIX-based software company and an Internet publisher.
Mr. Snell received a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Mr. Snell is based in IDC's San Mateo, California office.
