In October 2005, the Globus development environment (dev.globus.org) was established to provide infrastructure and a meritocratic governance model for developers and projects wishing to join the Globus community. This talk will overview how new projects can join Globus through a process called Incubation, similar to what is done in Apache, and highlight some of the current Incubator projects. We will then discuss how existing projects become part of the Globus Toolkit Distribution releases, and future developments.
