Java WS Core is a Web Services Development Kit (WSDK) for Java. It provides tools, libraries, and API for building, deploying and hosting stateful web services. It is an implementation of WS-Resource Framework (WSRF) and WS-Notification (WSN) family of specifications. Java WS Core also includes a web services security stack for authentication and authorization of web services invocations. The security stack supports the Web Services Security Specification for message protection and provides an attribute-based authorization engine with delegation of rights.

Attendees should have basic experience with building a web service using Java WS Core.
