The NCSA Private Sector Program is focused on integrating the research and operational capabilities available at NCSA with the newest technologies from high end system vendors to address new and innovative computational requirements from industries and academia. Creating a grid infrastructure able to meet these requirements over the coming five years requires significant investments and improvement in the hardware and software infrastructure, which NCSA is in now planning for. These plans include new facilities and new hardware platforms that are anticipated to meet these requirements.
