During GridWorld '06 conference Sun Microsystems will run interactive hands-on technical presentations and seminars that provides attendees with information on how to port, architect, and deploy applications to a grid environment. This technical seminar, staffed by engineers and architects from the Sun Grid team, will review the Sun Grid Compute Utility architecture and summarize the requirements for deployment. Bring your applications; Time will be reserved to discuss topics ranging from parallelizing your applications to porting to the Solaris 10 x64 Operating System. The Sun Gridathon consists of two components:

1. Sun Gridathon Presentations: During the Gridworld Conference, Sun Microsystems will run a brief technical seminar exclusively available to GridWorld attendees free of charge. You will be able to hear the latest on grid technologies, utility computing, and Sun Grid Compute Utility. The attendance to the seminar is open; choose a time that works for your schedule.

2. Sun Grid Seminars: Sun is enabling you to meet one-on-one with Sun Grid engineers to review your specific questions regarding grid computing. This is an opportunity to have in-depth technical discussion with the designers and architects of Sun Grid Compute Utility.
