Grid Shib:
As Grids scale to increasing numbers of users and institutions, identity management is an increasing problem. Leveraging site identity management systems to create a federated identity fabric holds the potential to be scalable solution to this problem by allowing the use existing identity infrastructure to access Grids, while increasing usability for end users. GridShib allows for building Grid Virtual Organizations on top of Shibboleth federations by allowing the use of Shibboleth identities for Grid security. It can also be coupled with myVocs to Grid-enable Shibboleth-based Virtual Organizations. In this presentation we'll give an overview of the GridShib tools and results of GridShib deployments.
