Scott Klasing works for IBM Global Technolgy Services as a Senior IT Grid Architect for the Grid / Virtualization EBO, as well as, the Enterprise Architecture & Technology Center of Excellence. Scott specializes in developing grid / virtualization based architectures for both centralized and distributed systems involving multi-tiered applications. On demand business processing is typically integrated with both e-business, and legacy based systems using a blend of orchestrated provisioning, virtualization, and grid techniques. Scott has over twenty-five years of experience in architecture, design and implementation of mainframe, client-server, message broker, and web based business applications, including database design and administration. Scott is currently focusing on grid enabling mission critical, enterprise high volume systems. Other areas of interest involve application performance, high volume user access, peer-to-peer GRIDS, massive multi-player gaming, and wireless technologies.
