MIT.
Junwei Cao is a research scientist of the MIT LIGO Laboratory. His
research is focused on distributed and grid computing. He is currently
working on the LIGO Scientific Collaboration (LSC) Data Grid to enable
gravitational wave physics applications. He is a member of the LSC Data
Analysis Software Committee and the Open Science Grid Consortium.
Before joining MIT in July 2004, Junwei Cao was a research staff member of
C&C Research Laboratories, NEC Europe Ltd., Germany. He completed his PhD
in Computer Science at the University of Warwick, U.K. in 2001 and MSc at
Tsinghua University, China in 1998.
