Borja Sotomayor is best known in the Globus community as the author of
the web-based "The Globus Toolkit 4 Programmer's Tutorial", a popular
starting point for newcomers to the Globus Toolkit, and co-author of the
book "Globus Toolkit 4: Programming Java Services". He has been
collaborating with the Globus Alliance since 2003 in different
capacities, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the
University of Chicago. Borja is part of the Virtual Workspaces group at
Argonne National Laboratory, where his research focuses on the use of
virtualization technologies in grid environments.
