 Peter Lane graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelors in Computer Science in 1998.
Since then he has worked in the Distributed Systems Laboratory at Argonne National Laboratory. Peter
is the lead developer for the Grid Resource Allocation Management (GRAM) component of the Globus
Toolkit(R) where he does primarily Java development. Peter tries to keep up with the OGSA-BES and
JSDL GGF working groups, and has been working to move GRAM towards implementing the standards that
come out of such working groups. He has also been involved with supporting features and improvements
needed by TeraGrid and the Open Science Grid.
