CEO, Digipede.
Mr. Powers, founder and president of Digipede Technologies, is an economist with more than two decades of entrepreneurial experience. He has guided the development, marketing, and sale of software systems for more than 10 years. A successful technology innovator and entrepreneur, he is a frequent presenter at industry conferences. Mr. Powers led two firms prior to Digipede. Most recently, he founded Energy Interactive (EI), a pioneering energy information software and services company that developed some of the first Web-based information services for the electric utility industry. He led EI from initial concept through expansion to acquisition by ABB, Inc. Earlier, as Senior Vice President of Quantum Consulting (QC), Mr. Powers was instrumental in growing the firm from a small startup to a mature company with a staff of 140 professionals before leading the spinout of Energy Interactive.
