Senior Researcher, HP.
Sujoy Basu is a senior researcher in the Mobile and Media Systems Lab in HP Labs, Palo Alto. His recent research has focused on service discovery and resource management for grid computing systems. He is currently on a year-long sabbatical in HP Software, and has worked on the Openview SOA Manager product. He has published over 20 papers, and has 5 US patents. He received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2000 and has been at HP Labs since then. He also has Masters and Bachelor degrees in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur respectively.
