Posted by admin under DIY Home, Home Care, Home Improvement

Sidings in houses give them an extravagant look and can be made of different materials. Such materials are aluminum and vinyl, masonite, hardy planks, bricks or stone, stucco/cement, cedar, and veneer sidings. When a person decides to install a siding to the house, then he or she should consider the size of the space available. This will determine the shape and size of the siding.

The maintenance of a siding installation varies depending on the material used. The most destroyers of sidings is water which can cause mold to grow and decay especially for wooden sidings. Cleaning and keeping the sidings dry most of the time reduces cases of rust or mold growth. Pressure washer can be used to clean with bleach and vinegar. Polishing and repainting helps protect the surface.
